Seasonal Transitions
This week at Hello Boutique has been a virtual feast for the senses. We've received carefully selected collections from two of our favorite designers; defining the season with exquisite quality and highly engaging details. Catherine Andre never fails to impress with fresh custom knits in decadent colors. While our incoming Babette provides a more muted palate, it makes up for it with its signature abundance of textures and expert tailoring. Remember, color and texture can and should be mixed! This season, play with pieces that draw in the eye and beg to be touched.

Trellis Scarf by Catherine Andre

Trellis Scarf by Catherine Andre
While scarves may not seem like a key item for spring/summer, Catherine Andre makes them downright essential. The lightweight knits range from gauzy to almost plush and most are wide enough to double as a shawl should you need to cover your shoulders. As is the case with most of Catherine Andre's designs, the twist that truly draws you in is with her custom designed knits. From abstract to literal, the designs are mesmerizing.
The Alfonsina Scarf is available in two intense colorways that evoke all the brilliance of a tropical seaside sunset. It's by far one of my favorite items of the season! While not as high in intensity, the
Trellis Scarf plays off subtle color variations to create an intriguing texture that can be easily paired with a complimentary pattern to create depth in your ensemble.

Alcudi Cardigan by Catherine Andre

Speaking of creating depth, try pairing something as visually dense as the
Alcudi Cardigan with a slightly more simple pattern containing matching colors or tones. The
Vita Long Tee compliments the rose pattern of the Acludi Cardigan by combining something slightly sporty with something more romantic.

Lafciado Knitted Polo by Catherine Andre

Sunset Jacket by Catherine Andre

Of course it's still effortlessly chic to simply let that really special piece in your spring wardrobe shine with clean and crisp neutrals.
The Lafciado Polo offers an incredible amount of visual detail and provides high impact when paired with a basic five pocket jean or chino. Looking for something with a little more coverage? The
Sunset Tee and
Jacket provide the ease of a twinset with all the energy of a Catherine Andre knit. With a color scheme that references a summertime on the coast, wear this with a feminine calf-skimming skirt or your favorite pair of linen trousers.

Short Zip Jacket by Babette

Milpois Scarf by Catherine Andre
Babette's
Short Zip Jacket offers a lightweight spring jacket option with edge. The slightly glossy texture combined with the stunningly vivid mustard color creates a surefire fave for seasons to come. Finish the look with Catherine Andre's
Milpois Scarf for a true POP!

Zip Front Pocket Dress by Babette

Step Hem Jacket by Babette

Millefiori Scarf by Catherine Andre
The
Zip Front Pocket Dress and
Step Hem Jacket from Babette create dense visual interest in a more subtle and textural manner. Airy black cotton with a tonal grey and green jacquard pattern create the perfect base off of which to layer on the color. The
Millefiori Scarf just happens to compliment these tones perfectly and would make a fantastic topper for either the dress or jacket.
Check out all the new
Babette and
Catherine Andre offerings!
